Christy Butler, Ed.S., CCC/SLP

Christy Butler is currently the Assistive Technology Specialist for West Ada School District, the largest school district in Idaho. In this role, Christy collaborates with school teams on strategies and implementation of high- and low-tech assistive technology to increase student learning, communication and independence. In addition, she is a practicing, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Christy has presented locally, across the state of Idaho and at the national level to promote augmentative and alternative communication and assistive technology training to educational staff, related service professionals and families/parents. Christy graduated from Duquesne University with her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and completed her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho.
