Dr. Paul Heidenreich (MD, MS) is Professor and Vice-Chair for Quality in the Department of Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He is a practicing general cardiologist and also Chief of Medicine at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.  His research has examined the epidemiology, economics and quality of care for heart disease with a focus on heart failure.  He served as Chair of the Writing Committee for the 2022 ACC/AHA/HFSA Guideline for the Management of Heart Failure.
