Suzanne Craft is a seasoned elementary school counselor at Lakevue Elementary School in the Vallivue School District in Caldwell, Idaho, where she serves a vibrant and diverse student body. She also owns and operates Craft Counseling, LLC, a private practice dedicated to helping children and families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges with a mantra of "crafting hope, healing hearts."
Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University–Idaho and a Master’s in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University. A nationally certified counselor (NCC), she began her work in schools in 2012 and earned her professional licensure in 2014. Her passion lies in supporting emotionally dysregulated children—especially those struggling with trauma and executive functioning difficulties such as ADHD—and empowering families to effectively partner with schools to secure meaningful accommodations.
In 2018, Suzanne led Lakevue Elementary to become the first elementary school in Idaho to receive the prestigious RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) designation, reflecting her commitment to data-driven, comprehensive school counseling programs.
Beyond her professional achievements, Suzanne is a proud wife, mother of ten, and grandmother of ten. She finds joy in traveling, all things Disney, and helping others find light in the middle of life’s messiest moments.
