Teri Mandrak, RN

I am a wife and mother to 2 daughters. I moved to Idaho from SC in 2018. I have worked in obstetrics for my entire nursing career and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I have a double masters degree in nursing education and nursing leadership as well as a post-graduate degree and advanced practice licensure as a clinical nurse specialist. I am a legal nurse consultant for the birth injury alliance, a clinical content expert for Elsevier’s maternal-newborn clinical skills collection and the webmaster for AWHONN Idaho. I serve on the board of directors for The Center for Certification Test Preparation and Review (CCPR) where I am also an item writer and peer reviewer for maternal-newborn NCC exams and I serve on the national AWHONN Evidence-Based Practice committee. And now also serve on the governing board for IDPQC. I am passionate about evidence based practice and quality improvement and my life’s mission is to positively impact the safety and outcomes of birthing people in our communities.
