Ami Hanna, MPH

Ami Hanna, MPH serves as the Maternity Program Manager and maternal health subject matter expert for Comagine Health. Her work leverages data, policy, and community-based coalition building to find creative, equitable, and pragmatic approaches maternal health quality improvement programs across multiple states. In addition to her maternal health focus, Ami has led projects focused on rural behavioral health systems transformation, opioid use disorder prevention programs, and targeted investment in the community health workforce.
Ami holds a BA in Medical Anthropology from Western Washington University and earned her MPH in Health Systems and Population Health and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Washington. Ami is also a certified birth doula and has supported a wide range of pregnant and parenting families in Washington and Oregon through the spectrum of maternal care. She is passionate about harnessing the power of data to address the growing maternal health crisis in the United States and create safer, more equitable systems of care for all birthing people.
