Executive Director, Ada County Medical Society

Steve is the Executive Director of Ada County Medical Society, a Boise, Idaho-based membership association of over 3400 physicians, advanced practice providers, and medical residents and students. ACMS works to empower its members to thrive professionally, personally, and within their communities.

Steve has been involved in various non-profit leadership roles since college including medical missions and clinics, social service organizations, churches, and other membership organizations. He received his bachelor's degree from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University. 

He has presented frequently in the local community on topics around burnout, self-care, resilience, suicide prevention, leadership dynamics, and systems change. He is the former host of the Coalition for Physician Well-Being’s monthly webinar and co-author of the LifeBridge Physician Well-Being Program Toolkit, which was honored as a Program of Excellence in 2019 by the American Association of Medical Society Executives.
