Dr. Nilsson is a primary care sports medicine physician with St. Luke’s Sports Medicine in Boise, ID. He completed approximately 26 years of formal educational programs on the way to practicing as a sports medicine doctor and eventually acquiring the title of medical director of the St. Luke’s Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic 14 years ago, but he still does a lot of reading. Occasionally he gets to help with research projects in his role as medical director of Applied Research at St. Luke’s too. He’s worked with lots of different patients in lots of different settings like an emergency room on the Navajo Indian Reservation, a ski slope in Japan, a soccer pitch in Madrid, and even a restaurant kitchen in Norway, but mostly clinics in Boise. He’s hoping he can share something interesting and informative about concussions with you.
