I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, where I attended by undergraduate training and a large part of my medical school training while attending the University of Washington as an Alaska WWAMI student before graduating in 2022. After that, I began internal medicine residency at the UW Boise program, which I graduated from in 2025 before starting my rheumatology fellowship at the University of Utah, which I am currently completing. I am not yet sure where I will work after my fellowship, but luckily I still have some time to sort that out. I have always enjoyed teaching and have worked as an adjunct chemistry professor for the University of Alaska Anchorage, so being able to continue to teach at a conference is a great honor. My personal interests include reading, fantasy football, and disc golf.
