James completed medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2019 and residency at the University of Washington Boise Internal Medicine Residency in 2022. He completed a chief year at the Boise VA Medical Center as the Chief Resident for Quality and Patient Safety (CRQS), and then started work at the University of Washington Medical Center - Northwest Hospital as a hospitalist in 2023. He enjoys general inpatient internal medicine work, teaching medical students and residents on rotation, and participating in hospital quality initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball/tennis, spending time exploring local restaurants, and playing video games with his wife.
