Ken M. Kunisaki, MD, MS, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Washington and Director of Clinical and Translational Research at the Boise VA Medical Center. A board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician, Dr. Kunisaki is internationally recognized for his research on COPD, sleep medicine, and lung disease among people with HIV. He has led numerous NIH-funded studies, published extensively, and received multiple national awards for mentorship, clinical research, and education.
