Michelle S. Christopher, MD (she/her) is a Palliative Medicine physician at the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Dr. Christopher graduated with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed residency training at the Brigham and Women’s Internal Medicine Residency Program, in the Department of General Medicine Primary Care track. She then completed fellowship at Cook County Health Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Fellowship Program. She served as Associate Program Director for the HPM fellowship programs with Cook County and Tulane University School of Medicine. She has been honored for her work with awards for University Medical Center New Orleans Best New Faculty Member, Best Physician Consultant and as the Tulane HPM Fellowship Program Best Teaching Attending. Dr. Christopher’s commitment to improving health disparities motivates her interests in clinical medicine and medical education. In 2025, she moved back to Boise, Idaho and joined the Palliative Care team at Saint Alphonsus, the hospital where she first was exposed to Palliative Medicine during her rotation as a medical student.
