Sahar Rooholamini, MD, MPH
Dr. Rooholamini completed her undergraduate degree at Pomona College and an MPH in Global Health at Yale University. She attended Stanford University School of Medicine and completed her internship, residency and chief residency at Stanford University/Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
Dr. Rooholamini was an associate director of the University of Washington (UW) pediatric residency program from 2015-2022, during which time she co-led multiple curricular initiatives including the development and expansion of the Inclusion, Cultural Humility, Diversity and Equity (INCLUDE) curriculum. She was an Associate Division Head in Pediatric Hospital Medicine from 2022-2024, and is now Assistant Dean for Faculty Recruitment and Retention at the UW School of Medicine (2024-present).
From 2018-2020, she led a large multi-center QI study called SOFI (Standardization of Fluids in Inpatient Settings) through the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a facilitator for the Generate and Teach Health Equity Routinely (GATHER) project at Seattle Children's Hospital and serves as a QI mentor for multiple pediatric projects in Washington state and across the U.S.
