Dr. Cora Best is Assistant Professor of Human Nutrition at the University of Florida. She is a nutrition scientist and registered dietitian with formal training in clinical nutrition, public health, and laboratory techniques for human nutrition research. Dr. Best directs a research program that combines clinical and translational approaches to improve nutrition care and health outcomes. Her work includes evaluating therapeutic diets for musculoskeletal and kidney health, investigating vitamin D metabolism and biomarkers to inform precision nutrition strategies, and collaborating on initiatives to integrate food-based interventions into healthcare systems. She is currently the Dennis M. Bier Early Career Editor of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
