Dr. Matthew (“Matt”) Widdison completed his undergraduate studies at BYU–Idaho, earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and completed his Family Medicine residency at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC). He currently serves as a core faculty member with the EIRMC Family Medicine Residency, where he teaches and mentors resident physicians.

Dr. Widdison also practices full-time at Community Family Clinic in Rigby, Idaho, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). His professional interests include graduate medical education, caring for low-income and underserved communities, and advancing population health.

When not seeing patients he enjoys spending time with his family, building somewhat functional woodworking projects and trying his hand at gardening and landscaping.
