Connor Johnson serves as the Program Director for the Southeastern Idaho Area Health Education Center (AHEC), housed within Southeastern Idaho Public Health. In this role, he leads regional efforts to strengthen the health workforce pipeline by coordinating education, hands-on training, and strategic partnerships across southeastern Idaho.

Connor brings a strong background in nonprofit and free clinic operations, along with recent academic training in public health. His work spans the full workforce continuum—from engaging high school and university students in health careers to collaborating with community partners and healthcare providers to address persistent rural workforce shortages.

With experience in workforce development, health education, and community engagement, Connor is committed to improving access to care in underserved communities. He works closely with educators, students, clinical sites, and local organizations to build sustainable pathways for future health professionals and support the region’s evolving healthcare needs.
