Thomas J. Farrer, PhD, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Idaho. His research focuses on dementia, reversible causes of cognitive impairment, and neuroepidemiology. He integrates multimodal neuroimaging, large population datasets, and meta-analytic and computational methods to study how chronic disease, viral infection, vaccination, and health behaviors influence cognitive aging.
