Kathy is a full scope practicing Certified Nurse Midwife, currently practicing in the state of Idaho.  Kathy was raised on the family farm in Saskatchewan Canada.  She attended the University of Saskatchewan completing a BSN, and continued to University of Utah completing a Masters of Science in Nursing - speciality Midwifery, and fellowships from Duke University and SLHS Center of Nursing Excellence in Boise, Idaho.

Her professional work experience includes introducing midwife programs, creating procedures like Family Friendly C Section, practicing full scope midwifery in hospital, home, and birth center locations.  She is ARDMS Midwife Ultrasound certified, and assisted in the early development of this certification at a national level.

Kathy is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys adventures on snow, in water, across vast expanses.  She currently lives and works in Idaho.
