Nick Martonick, PhD, ATC

Dr. Nick Martonick is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomechanics at the University of Idaho, with dual appointments in the WWAMI Medical Education Program and Athletic Training programs. He is a NATA Board of Certification licensed athletic trainer whose research program spans clinical biomechanics, bone health, and therapeutic modalities. His work integrates advanced motion capture, DXA imaging, and statistical modeling approaches to identify clinically meaningful predictors of musculoskeletal health and injury risk. Dr. Martonick teaches orthopedic assessment and anatomy coursework, and mentors medical students performing research in the WWAMI program.
