
ECHO Oral Health in Primary Care
3rd Tuesdays, 12:30-1:30 p.m. MST
ECHO Idaho’s Oral Health in Primary Care series is designed to equip healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, identify, and provide preventive care for common oral health conditions. Through case-based learning, participants will gain practical strategies for integrating oral health into routine clinical practice and develop greater confidence in addressing oral health concerns across diverse patient populations.
This interprofessional series fosters collaboration among medical, dental, and public health professionals, supporting a team-based approach to improving patient outcomes. Sessions are held virtually, providing a convenient and engaging learning environment that promotes immediate application in clinical practice.

Target Audience
The target audience includes primary care providers (e.g., MD, DO, PA, NP, etc.), nurses, community health workers, and health care professionals interested in oral care.

Joint Accreditation

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.
Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists
For the purpose of re-licensure, the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, School of Health and Medical Professions as an approved provider of continuing education. To be considered continuing education, the session(s) are required to be germane to your practice. Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board.

How to Enroll in ECHO Oral Health in Primary Care Sessions:
- Enroll in the series: Review the Participation Agreement, check the agreement box, and click the Enroll button. A confirmation message will appear at the top of the page.
- Select individual sessions: After enrolling in the series, check the box next to each session you’d like to attend. Then click the Enroll button again.
- Confirm your enrollment: The Status will update from Available to Enrolled, and a confirmation message will appear at the top of the page. You will also receive a confirmation email for each session with a calendar link and course access details.
- Stay informed: You will receive a reminder email on the day of each session you are enrolled in.
