Overview:

A one-time Project ECHO session will focus on the ethical challenges that arise when navigating potential tensions between caregivers and the best interests of individuals living with dementia. The session will feature a presentation incorporating real-world case examples to examine the complex interplay of legal requirements, ethical standards, personal values, institutional policies, and organizational leadership, followed by an interactive discussion.

Target Audience

Healthcare professionals and practitioners, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nurse assistants, and social workers involved in supporting people with dementia care and their caregivers.
