Norman Litchfield, MD is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist. He is the Medical Director for Addiction Medicine within the Behavioral Health Service Line at St Luke's Health System where he sees patients in both hospital and clinic settings across Southwest and Central Idaho. Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Dr. Litchfield served as the Medical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit at the Boise VA Medical Center. He maintains a faculty appointment with the University of Washington, where he teaches medical students, residents and fellows in the Boise Psychiatry Residency and Addiction Medicine Fellowship. He is the current President of the Idaho Society of Addiction Medicine, a chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
