With 35 years of Registered Nursing experience, Chantel has dedicated her career to compassionate, patient-centered care across a wide variety of healthcare settings, including orthopedic and general surgery pre/post-operative inpatient care, hospice, and youth camps. Her diverse clinical background has provided extensive experience caring for patients across the lifespan and supporting individuals and families during vulnerable and challenging times.

For the past 8 years, she has specialized as a Forensic Nurse, providing trauma-informed care to patients impacted by violence while supporting medical, legal, and community response efforts.

She has served as an IAFN SANE Skills Lab Instructor since 2023, helping train and mentor nurses in forensic examination techniques and evidence-based practice. Since 2024, she has also served as a SANE Mentor through the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence, supporting the development and confidence of nurses entering the forensic nursing field.

Chantel is passionate about education, professional mentorship, and strengthening access to quality forensic nursing care in both urban and rural communities.
