Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Clinical Skills Lab

This 16-hour Clinical Skills Lab is a provider-directed, provider-paced educational activity designed to advance the professional competence and clinical performance of nurses and healthcare providers in the role of the adult/adolescent Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE/SANE).
Comprehensive medical-forensic examination skills, including trauma-informed patient assessment, injury identification, forensic evidence collection, and accurate documentation.
Trainings are subject to rescheduling if fewer than three participants register. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants, with a waiting list available once capacity is reached.
Continuing Education Credit Information
Successful completion of this CE/CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 16.0 ANCC or AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Instructions for meeting the requirements to earn these credits will be provided prior to the start of the conference.
