By participating in ECHO Idaho K12 Education series, educators can earn professional development credit. Credit is offered in partnership with the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences, and will be transcribed for FREE through the University of Idaho. You are encouraged to join live sessions; however, you will also have the opportunity to access asynchronous sessions.

School nurses play a vital role in delivering essential health services and education to students, teachers, and school communities. Their work is critical to ensuring that students can learn and thrive in the classroom.

ECHO Idaho’s K12 School Nurses series offers a virtual platform for school nurses and allied health professionals to enhance their knowledge-base and skills, while simultaneously connecting them with colleagues and health care experts from across the state of Idaho.

Led by an interdisciplinary panel of experts specializing in school nursing, pediatrics, mental health, and more, this series helps participants learn and implement best practices by engaging in interdisciplinary conversations and case-based learning. These hour-long, virtual sessions are a convenient and interactive form of learning.

This series was developed for school nurses and others providing health services in the K12 setting, but all school and health care professionals are welcome.

    The University of Idaho, School of Health and Medical Professions has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award 7.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria.     The University of Idaho, School of Health and Medical Professions designates this activity for a maximum of 7.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
