The Idaho GUT Club 2026 Fall Meeting is designed to provide gastroenterologists with a series of lectures on current medical issues facing practitioners today. The objectives are to provide physicians and other members of the healthcare team with updated patient care information and information on the treatment and management of gastrointestinal disorders. It offers the opportunity to share difficult case histories and elicit management advice from colleagues and experts in the field. This conference is for physicians, nurse practitioners, and PAs specializing in gastroenterology, along with other healthcare professionals in related fields.

ABIM Maintenance of Certification credit is available for those who choose to participate. If you would like to claim MOC credit, please include your ABIM number in your profile.

Target Audience

Our focus is centered on healthcare providers in gastroenterology, primarily physicians (MD/DO), but other health care professionals are welcome to attend, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered dietitians, and medical trainees.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, participants will be able to articulate updated standards of care for the treatment and management of gastrointestinal disorders using current evidence and patient care recommendations.

    The University of Idaho, School of Health and Medical Professions has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award 12.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

  • 12.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit

    The University of Idaho, School of Health and Medical Professions designates this activity for a maximum of 12.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

  • 12.00 ANCC
    This activity is approved for a maximum of 12.00 continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours.
  • 12.00 CDR CPEU
    Completion of this RD/DTR profession-specific or IPCE activity awards CPEUs (1 IPCE credits = 1 CPEU).

    If the activity is dietetics related but not targeted to RDs or DTRs, CPEUs may be claimed which are commensurate with participation in contact hours (1 hour/60 minutes = 1 CPEU).

    RDs and DTRs are to select activity type 102 in their Activity Logs. Performance Indicator selection is at the learner’s discretion.
